Evil cloaked as Light Poem

Evil cloaked as light, it's a deceitful guise, A mask of goodness that hides the darkness inside. It whispers sweet nothings, but it speaks with a forked tongue, And those who follow blindly will find themselves undone.

Its words are twisted, its intentions vile, It preys on the innocent with a devilish smile. It wraps itself in righteousness, but it's a wolf in sheep's clothing, And those who trust too easily will find themselves aching and moaning.

It promises salvation, but it delivers only pain, It offers hope, but it causes nothing but shame. It feeds on the weak and the vulnerable, And those who fall under its spell will find themselves in trouble.

So beware of the evil that hides in the light, For it's a master of deception, a creature of the night. Don't let it seduce you with its honeyed words, Or you'll find yourself lost, alone, and hurt.
