Divided States of America Poem

In the land of the free and the home of the brave,

We're a nation divided, in so many ways. Broken families, torn apart by strife, Reflecting a country that's lost its way in life.

From sea to shining sea, the cracks appear, And families split apart, shedding many a tear. We're a nation once united, now torn apart, Our ideals and values no longer in our heart.

The red and blue states clash and fight, Tearing our country apart, with all their might. Families suffer, as divisions run deep, And a broken America, we're forced to keep.

We need to come together, to heal the divide, To mend the broken families, that we cannot hide. We must find a way, to put aside our hate, And rebuild our country, before it's too late.

For a nation divided, cannot stand for long, And the broken families, need to feel they belong. We need to come together, as one big family, To build a brighter future, for you and me.
