Poem of being Eaten by a Wolf
In the desert, I wandered lost and alone
My soul shattered, my heart a stone The scorching sun beat down on my skin As I stumbled through the sand, unable to win
The heat suffocated me, the thirst burned deep I prayed for salvation, but no relief did I reap And then, out of nowhere, a wolf appeared My fate was sealed, my end was near
Its eyes gleamed with hunger and desire As it circled me, ready to conspire I knew then that my time had come My life would end, my fate undone
And so I closed my eyes and waited For the pain, the end, the fate that fate had fated But to my surprise, the wolf did not bite Instead, it howled, a mournful sound in the night
And in that moment, I knew what it meant The wolf was my end, my final descent But I did not fear, for I was broken and lost And so I surrendered, to the wolf's final cost.
